Divorce Lawyer in Orihuela Costa
Cuando el divorcio es complicado, porque no hay acuerdo, porque hay hijos, porque hay patrimonio que repartir, lo que necesitas es que alguien lo gestione bien.
Every case has its own variables. I work on all of them
Contested Divorce
When there is no agreement, a judge decides on your children, your home and your financial situation. You need someone who will defend your position solidly, who knows your case in depth and who anticipates the other side's moves. That is what I do.
Divorce with Children
A divorce does not end when the judge signs the order. It ends when the arrangements on custody, contact and child support actually work in practice. I make sure nothing is left open: clear contact schedules, extraordinary expenses properly defined, so you are not back in court every few months.
Divorce Under Separate Property Regime
Being in a separate property regime does not eliminate financial conflict. The house bought jointly, shared debts, each party's contributions: everything needs to be resolved with care. I explain what each party is entitled to and how to close the situation without creating another front of dispute.
Divorce with Joint Property
What you built together during the marriage will be divided, but division rarely means simply splitting everything in two. The house, the mortgage, savings, a business: each element has its own rules. The sooner it is approached clearly the less time and money is lost.

Any doubts?
How much does a divorce cost in Torrevieja?
It depends on the type of process, whether there are children, whether there are assets to divide, and how much agreement there is between the parties. Fees are discussed in the first consultation, once I know the specifics of your case.
How long does a divorce take?
In a mutual agreement divorce, once the application is filed, the process normally takes between four and eight weeks depending on the court's workload. In contested cases, timescales are longer because they depend on how the proceedings develop. In either case, the sooner you start, the sooner it is resolved.
Can I get divorced if my spouse does not want to?
Yes. Divorce in Spain does not require the other party's consent. If there is no agreement, the process becomes contested and the judge rules on all the arrangements.
How long do we need to have been married before we can divorce?
Spanish law requires that at least three months have passed since the marriage took place. The only exception is where there is a risk to the life, physical integrity or liberty of either spouse or the children.
